Ironically, this interiors project was all about bringing the outside in. That was the request of the client, McGuireWoods, with whom Gensler has a long standing relationship, and one could say they got what they asked for!

​

Our two impact-moments were in the break room and the reception area. We conceived the center breakroom island as a central park, a space for social interaction, adventure and whimsy.  This manifest as a custom, twenty-five foot table the client fell in love with.

​

In the reception, we wanted to take advantage of the Inner Harbor views below and did so with a stretch fabric ceiling which reflected the harbor below, while framing the view outward.
